The K2 Balti House - Brand Identity
The K2 Balti House is the largest indian restaurant within Hemel Hempstead. The K2 were looking for an agency who could help redesign their Indian Restaurant brand concept and work with them on a long term basis to refresh and evolve the creative. The concept needed to include menus, promotional materials, digital communications and photography.
The result... A strong brand look which reflects the ethos and philosophy of the company and a concept which is both adaptable and flexible. With careful planning, well considered props and a client who shares the vision, we have created materials for all consumer touch points to help reach their financial goals.
This is the K2 Mountain also known as Mount Godwin-Austen or Chhogori, is the second highest mountain in the world, after Mount Everest. I started with a photograph of the K2 to create a continues pattern for the background.
Following the lines on the mountain I started to shape my puzzle piece.

I shaded the puzzle with highlights and shadows to reveal the shape of the mountain.
The finished continues puzzle of many mini K2 mountains.
Using the colours of the K2 restaurant interior I coloured the pattern and overlaid the logo to give it a fresh new look and feel. Im very happy with the outcome.
